Fall 2013 Recreational Soccer League

The Santa Cruz City Youth Soccer Club organizes youth soccer leagues for boys and girls ages 4-18. Our Recreational League (for new and returning players) hosts age divisions of Under 6 (ages 4 & 5), U8, U10, U12, U14 & U18 Co-Ed. Our Fall season begins practices in late August or early September, with ten games played on Saturdays between Labor Day and Thanksgiving. Teams usually practice twice a week at a neighborhood field, at a time set by the coach. Registration for Fall 2013 recreational soccer is now open. | |

SCCYSC 2013 Club and Team Development Camp, June 16-20
|
This June Santa Cruz City Youth Soccer Club will host the Club and Team Development Camp, created by Frans Hoek,
assistant/goalkeeper coach for AFC AJAX, FC Barcelona, FC Bayern Munich, and the Polish and Dutch National Mens Soccer teams.
Ideal for players and goalkeepers (ages 5-18), the staff coaches follow an age specific curriculum within each of the following stages of development.
- Stage 1 of Development: Mastery of the Ball and Dominating the 1 versus 1
- Stage 2 of Development: Playing Together - 2 versus 1 through 8 versus 8
- Stage 3 of Development: (U13 and older) Playing in the Team System 1:4:3:3 (1:3:4:3) in all variations and against different systems of play (1:4:4:2, 1:4:2:3:1, 1:3:5:2)
- Session 1: 9am - 11:30am Cost: $135 Register for Session 1
- Session 2: 12:30pm - 3:00am Cost: $135 Register for Session 2
- Session 3: 9am - 3:00pm Cost: $155 Register for Session 3 (Full Day)
- Session 4: 5:30pm - 8:00pm Cost: $135 Register for Session 4

SCCYSC 2013 Soccer Camp, July 15-19
This summer Santa Cruz City YSC is combining with West Coast Coaching (WCC) to offer the ultimate soccer camp. WCC will be bringing five top level professional British soccer coaches that work in Academies across the UK to our city.
The camp will show players new techniques and skills that will dazzle you this season. This camp is the perfect preparation for your Fall season.
The camp will be held at Branciforte Middle School from July 15th to the 19th, from 9 to 12. The cost is $150.
Ages 4 to 16 are welcome. Groups will be made based on age and ability. All players will receive a T-shirt, professional coaching, evaluation, and a graduation gift. Spaces are limited, so register now!

SCCYSC 2013 Advanced Summer Camps, August 5-9, 12-16
|
Santa Cruz City Youth Soccer Club will be conducting two 1-week advanced soccer camps directed by Hillel Rom.
The camp will be targeted to committed advanced players, boys and girls ages 9-17. We are excited to include a goalkeeping component to this camp.
The focus of the camp will be technical skills, technique and small sided games. Space is very limited and we will accept applications on a first come first served basis.
Hillel has been coaching in Santa Cruz for over 30 years and has assembled a highly qualified group of local coaches to assist him in making this camp successful.
