For Girls Who Love Soccer
2000 CYSA Chevrolet Association Cup U16 State Champions

The Santa Cruz Jaws are 107 girls on 7 soccer teams ages 8 to 16 years old playing in the Santa Cruz City Youth Soccer Clubs. The staff of the Jaws not only provide excellant training and inspiration for their teams, but provide leadership and opportunity for the entire county's soccer program.

The Jaws girls participated in the public debate, the ground breaking, and the grand opening of the new Depot Park which includes the only public all-weather soccer field in the county. Todd Tsukushi was asked by city officials to speak at that grand opening where he was the only non-politician on the stage.

The Jaws are Positive Coaching Alliance teams. Todd may be heard on KUSP's "Talk Of The Bay" with host Bonnie Jean Primbsch (Feb 21, 2005 archive) http://www.kusp.org/shows/totb.html  in a panel discussion of coaching styles.

We hope you will want to join the Girls In Blue - The Jaws, but we hope that you will continue to play and enjoy soccer no matter where you are.

107 girls say Go JAWS!!!!
