Connie Davis

Connie has been coaching these girls for a number of years.  She does so with encouragement and enjoyment.  Connie does not play favorites.  She gives every girl an opportunity to play every position.  She plans outings with the girls at her house, and at professional and college soccer games.  Connie is not an emotional coach, but one on the sidelines - watching and providing insight during breaks.  One of the great things that I admire about Connie is that she has taught the girls to take responsibility.  The girls often arrive to the game early, practicing drills even before Connie arrives.  Connie also encourages the girls to talk directly to the referee when they feel a problem is occurring in the game.  At the end of this past week's game, Connie provided Halloween treats for the girls, and for the other team as well.  Her efforts have led her team to years of successful records. Connie has the winning secret - she shows it every day.
