Chris Wentzien

He's one of the most patient, even-keeled, kindest people I know, as well as a great soccer coach. In the beginning of the season I was put off by some of the parents of the players on the team.  There was a lot of yelling and many kids in tears.  I didn't want my son or my family to be involved in such a negative environment. Chris made it a point to work with the parents and let them know that it was not okay for them to be behaving in that way.  It was not a positive environment for the kids. They weren't listening to his coaching when their parents were yelling at them from the sidelines. Shortly after Chris started working with the parents, there was a noticeable shift in the boys' enjoyment of the games followed by a huge improvement in their skill level.
