Bruce Toorani

He is one of the most positive coaching influences my son has had in his 9 years of playing soccer. He has created a culture of "no put downs" that helps the kids respect each other and stay supportive and working together win or lose. Bruce models excellent sideline behavior and composure for the players and parents. I have never seen him speak back to refs, nor does he yell commentary from the sidelines. Bruce's comments to the kids following games are positive, encouraging, specific and useful and sometimes consoling in a the most meaningful of ways. He connects their commitment to their soccer game with their commitments in their broader lives, such as doing well in school.
