Team Binder.
The team binder holds
your "Goldenrod" official team
roster,
an original signed form #1601 for each player (also called the
"Medical Release")
and a copy of each player's birth certificate.
You will also find a set of Player and
Staff Passes with pictures.
The Player and Staff Passes MUST BE LAMINATED. It is
helpful to punch a whole in the cards and loop a string, chain or loose
leaf paper ring.
The Team Binder
should be at all events where the players are under the supervision of the
team staff (Coach, Assistant Coach, Coach Assistant and/or Manager). If
there is a medical emergency involving a player, that player's Medical Release
form must go with the adult who is dealing with the situation. It has the
parent and emergency contact information as well as consent for medical
treatment signed by a parent or guardian.
The Team Binder is also required at CYSA tournaments and jamborees.
There is a check-in procedure where the Goldenrod, Form 1601, birth
certificate (new this year, birth documents are no longer needed) and
player passes are inspected to verify the roster of players for that event.
It is helpful for official check-ins to arrange the papers in the
binder so the birth certificate faces the medical release
The Player and Staff
Passes are required at EVERY CYSA game. The referees may not
officiate a game without seeing a laminated pass for each participant.
"NO PASS NO PLAY"
Note: I have a laminator and supplies at my home office.
It is desirable to make stickers for game cards. Click
for an Excel Template, print out on 8.5x11 full sheet peel and stick
paper (Avery xx65 - where xx=the code for laser or inkjet compatible) or on plain
paper and use a glue stick.

Delgado
Playing League
(u10 and older)
It is a separate step after the local
player/team registration, to have a league to play in. Our u9’s play
in an in-house league and are automatically scheduled, but everyone else
needs to register in the District 2 Delgado Playing League. You will need your
“goldenrod” roster, your license, and a second contact from a
different household.
Scheduling
U14 and older MUST stop playing by Nov
15 because of the High School CIF 600 exclusion rule, so games are
scheduled starting the weekend before Labor Day. Younger teams usually
start the weekend after Labor Day.
The “Schedule” does NOT have
location and time for games. It is up to the HOME TEAM (listed first) to
notify the visiting team. The Delgado rules state that this must be done by
the Monday before the weekend of the game.
Most teams will be able to set their schedules for the season before
the start of play,
They and you should post the schedule on
the individual Delgado team pages.
To get your game schedule,
u14 and younger make a list of your home games and email to Rob Peabody (Jaws-90)
email: rob.peabody at lmco.com
U15 and older are scheduled by the
county league and play home games throughout the county.
