Free Goalkeeper Training

Goalie Training is free of charge to all registered Santa Cruz City YSC (recreational and competitive) players.

Coaches are welcome to attend and help out as needed. Parents are potentially needed to help with the younger age group if numbers get greater than 10-12 players.

Times and Locations 

Thursday 6-7pm U11 and younger; 7-8pm U12 and older at Harvey West Field 4 under the lights.
Friday 5-6pm U11 and younger, 6-7pm U12 and older at Branciforte Middle School.

Picture Day Fall 2014

Picture Day has moved.
Teams playing at Harvey West Park, Mission Hill Middle School or Skypark have picture day on  10/11/2014 at Harvey West Park.

Teams playing at Branciforte Middle School (and teams having a BYE at Harvey West Park on 10/11/2014) will have picture day on 10/18/2014 at Branciforte Middle School.

The game schedules for the Fall 2014 recreational league are being posted on the Recreational League page.  All age group schedules are now posted.

U-8 boys and U-8 girls schedules have been updated.

Jaws 95 Finalists at Breakers' Cup Tournament

The Jaws 95 girls team competed in the Breakers Cup earlier this August, and took 2nd place! The team had a couple of hard fought wins. One of those wins was against the Los Gatos Pumas, Spring District Cup champions to whom they had previously lost to in this past Spring District Cup tournament.

Jaws 99 White Take 1st Place at Beach "World Cup"

Santa Cruz City's Jaws 99 White took first place in last weeks hotly contested GU14 "world cup" beach tournament, with teams coming form as far away as Placerville. he girls finished 2nd two weeks prior, in the ProAm Beach tournament, and were not going to settle for 2nd again! The girls finished with an impressive 4-1-0 (+16 GD). In the final, the Jaws girls kept their composure against an aggressive and very vocal Livermore Fusion squad. The girls used their local beach knowledge/training to come away with a strong 4-1 win!
